On August 28, 1996 at approximately 11:30 PM, Carrie Culberson was dropped off by her friends at her residence. She did not make into the house. Something went awry that night. In the following days after her disappearance, suspician fell on none other than her on and off again boyfriend, Vincent Doan. Carrie had pending assault charges against Vincent Doan for an attack exactly a month before she vanished. Doan had attacked Carrie with a space heater. The attack caused Carrie to need 5 staples to close the gash in the back of her head. In the following months after she vanished, kidnapping charges were upgraded to murder charges against Vincent Doan, although both Carrie and her 1989 Red Honda CRX remained missing. The jury convicted Vincent Doan for Carrie's disappearance and murder. He is now serving a life sentence without parole in an Ohio prison. More charges would follow for the police chief, Doan's half brother, and Doan's father. At this time, even with the convictions, Carrie remains MISSING. It is the continued hope of Carrie's family that her body can be recovered for a proper burial. She is considered to be "deceased". Please help us find Carrie.
